The Philosophy

Start With What Is Strong

Most people spend too much of life focused on what is wrong, what is missing, or what needs to be fixed. Eric's work begins somewhere different.

He helps each person discover their Island of Competency — the place where they feel capable, alive, and deeply themselves. From there, confidence begins to grow. Emotional skills become easier to build. Challenges become easier to face. And the parts of life that once felt impossible begin to shift.

This is a strengths-based approach to growth, grounded in connection, not control.

The Approach

A Grounded Approach to Growth

01

Discover What Makes You Shine

Every person has a place of brilliance. Eric helps uncover what is special in each individual and uses that strength as the foundation for growth.

02

Build Bridges, Not Battles

Whether working with a man, a child, a family, or a school system, the goal is not to fight harder. The goal is to create understanding, collaboration, and a clear path forward.

03

Grow Through Connection

Growth happens when people feel seen, heard, and supported. Eric brings the presence of a sympathetic adult: someone who listens without judgment, believes in what is possible, and helps co-create solutions.

The Work

Two Pathways. One Deeper Approach.

Coaching for Men

Reconnect With Who You Are

For men who feel stuck, disconnected, reactive, or unsure of their next step, Eric offers grounded coaching that helps them reconnect with their values, face old patterns, and move forward with greater clarity and integrity.

This work may include emotional regulation, shadow work, purpose discovery, relationship patterns, embodied leadership, and honest conversation about what is really going on beneath the surface.

  • For men who want to:
  • Stop repeating the same patterns
  • Build emotional strength and self-leadership
  • Clarify their values and purpose
  • Deepen their relationships
  • Move through life with greater honesty and connection

Coaching & Advocacy for Children

Support the Whole Child

For children and families navigating learning differences, school struggles, emotional challenges, or disconnection at home, Eric helps identify what is really going on and build a path forward.

Drawing from more than 20 years in special education and advocacy, Eric works with children, parents, schools, and communities to create solutions that support the whole child — not just the problem in front of them.

  • For families navigating:
  • Learning differences
  • School stress or advocacy needs
  • Emotional and behavioral challenges
  • Family conflict around a child's struggles
  • A child who needs help finding confidence, values, and their own voice

At the Heart of the Work

The Power of a Sympathetic Adult

A sympathetic adult is someone who believes in you before you fully believe in yourself.

Someone who listens without judgment.
Someone who sees what is strong, not just what is struggling.
Someone who helps you find your footing without forcing a path onto you.

In Eric's work, this relationship is central. Whether he is supporting a child, a man, or a family, the process is collaborative. Every voice matters. Every person deserves to feel seen. And every solution is built together.

Nature-Based Work

Growth Happens Best When We Can Breathe Again

Some conversations do not belong under fluorescent lights.

Eric often brings his work into natural spaces — walking with clients, slowing down, and creating room for honesty, reflection, and perspective. Nature is not just a backdrop. It is part of the rhythm of the work: grounding the body, quieting the noise, and helping people reconnect to what is real.
